Pegs and Jokers

A Meta Quest mixed-reality tabletop adaptation with hand-tracked play and multiplayer architecture targeting up to 8 players.

Pegs and Jokers multiplayer seating prototype

Project snapshot

Pegs and Jokers MR adapts the traditional peg-and-card board game into a shared mixed-reality tabletop experience for Meta Quest. The project is based on Unity’s Mixed Reality Multiplayer Tabletop template, with custom game systems layered on top. The goal is hand-tracked play around a virtual board, supporting team and individual play for 2 to 8 players.

The core game logic is built around a clean phase/state machine, card and deck systems, board layouts, peg movement, capture rules, and automated tests. Multiplayer work is being de-risked through an 8-player tabletop networking prototype intended to be ported back into the game.
